we have one that started at 7.5 to 8 weeks old, now trust me it doesnt sound much like a true crowing, but its a cute strangled sounding crow lol

Quick! I am not sure, depends on the breed. They sound SO funny when they start! Ours went: Cock-a-doo but he couldn't finish!!!

We did not get thease chicken from a hatchery they came pecking on our door litterally so not 100% sure of age and sex.. what would you guess..
