Quiet chicks.

It's hard to say. I will definitely keep an eye on them. I reached my hand in to stop it a few times. Now that I turned the light off they are quiet and under the brooder plate.

What color are the beaks on the anconas and the other chicks?

The barndevelders have redish tipped beaks but the others don't. They may be biting at the egg tooth?

Maybe it’s due to both….. I’m sure they’ll grow out of it though since they’re just babies now
