quiet egg layers?

hello all, newbie here. I have had chickens as a kid, and had a coop a few years ago. RIR's and leghorns. They are great to have, love the eggs! The one thing I always remember about our chickens is they go berserk when they lay. Can anyone suggest a breed of layer that is generally quieter than usual? I don't want to upset the neighbors. Our Buff Orpingtons are quiet.

Hi Ian...

One of my Wyandottes does a very loud "egg song", but all the rest are pretty quiet about it. My sex-links especially are pretty quiet in general. I'm not sure if that's a breed-specific thing or just them, however.

All Orps are relatively quiet, and great in a City environment.
