Does anyone else have quiet hens?

All i read about it how loud everyones girls are. I feel for the most part my girls are super quiet during the day with a yell once in awhile and once sun goes down and they are cozy in there coop its radio silence.

My current flock is pretty quiet, for now, though I find the noise factor odd more of ash issue when production starts and you get multiple egg song song-a-longs daily or just "i can talk louder than you contests " (i had two in my last flock that held these daily). Right now the only noisy time is the initial "flap and squawk" celebration when I let them out of the run for a time each evening. I've had super quiet girls and sound serious blabberrmouths.

My four girls are quiet also. I think part of it is the breed. The most I hear from them is in the morning when they are ready to be let out of their run. Some will do an egg song on occasion and that always makes me pause and smile. They seem to coo to each other while foraging but rarely a loud call. The leader, Patsy, is an Australorp. She is the most vocal with a bit more of a constant chatter that sounds like a duck! She's bossy that way. :)
