When we first got our hens they made a LOT of noise announcing their eggs, but for the last while they don't make any noise at all! They just go about their business. Today one of them got separated from the others because she was in the inner run and the door closed with wind. She made the same noise they make when they laid before, so I knew there was something going on. Which makes me think that my four hens have such a cozy, easy life together that they don't find it necessary to make a fuss about much. I'm new to all this so it's all a big mystery still. Any thoughts?
