Quik chik

My chicks are coming this week and i was wondering if i needed to get quik chik, or something like that for them. they are all bantams. if i need to get some where could i get it?

NEED? Not really. It wouldn't be bad to have on hand though.

You can always give them a bit of sugar in the water to give em some pep.

You don't need anything special for them, but it can never hurt.

Do i need to get the medicated chick food?

I usually get it to protect against cocciditis.

Need. No. I prefer to not medicate. Results can be stronger resistance to disease or death sometimes. You will need to to decide which path you want to go down. I took the one less traveled by.

I would get either quick chick or sav-a-chick and add it to their water for the first week. Or at least have it on hand for any chicks that need a boost.
