Quilting Room, Re-Do..................Pic Heavy

Sewing/quilting room is a mess. Stuff is everywhere and it's impossible to do anything in here.

Stacks of fabric to be ironed

There is a bookshelf and futon in here some where.

Sewing cabinet has been found! Particle board is so that I can slide back and forth when sewing.

All the fabric folded and stacked on a drying rack for ironing

Oh look! I found the Futon and part of my Snoopy Collection!

Yeah the bookshelf!!Those bags in front are full of fabric, mostly denium. piles of books and stuff that needs to go to Freecycle so that I can just clear it out.

Note the fabir hanging from hangers. Those are all pressed and ready for specific quilts.


Wonder where the floor is?!


ETA---looking in the last picture. That is my "monkey" puppet on the left handside. His name is Sam. When I broke my neck at 18, he hung from the traction rod over my bed. He's got different hats that he wears. I used to use him for storytelling when I worked and afterschool program with K-1 kids

Where is the sewing machine.....

I've reorganized my sewing room too....and now have a guest bed in there! My re-do took a couple of weeks!
What is it with spring cleaning!!

It's actually under the sewing desk for now. Out of the way. I'm trying to talk the hubby into a new one with the income tax monies!!

I love it!

I tidy mine when it looks like an episode of hoarders. Then I will spend half a day straightening, refolding, putting away, dusting, etc.

Then it starts all over again.

At least you have a quilting room. I have a quilting wall, as in all my stuff is along one wall.

Oh and I love the idea of hanging the fabric on hangers! I wash, dry, iron, then fold and cram in a little cabinet. When I need to use some, I have to iron it again!

I also see the makings of a rag quilt in a few pics.
