Those shell-less eggs are commonly referred to as "rubber eggs." Some pullets will go through that stage as their bodies gear up to laying. Search for "rubber eggs" right here on Backyard Chickens Forum and you will find lots of information. Don't worry about it and DO put out oyster shells just in case...
