The little bees are hard at work. :)

Busy day for me as well. Gotta do some work on the truck for the boss then got my own chores to do around the house. Are geese really mean?
Good morning patti and WB, hope your days are productive, sounds like that will be.

Geese are not really mean. They just get hormonal for a few months a year. And, I know that Patti loves her geese so much that she has not set them out on the curb yet.

Hope y'all have a better weekend then this poor guy!
Put a goose in this picture instead of the Tiger WB, and the answer is yes. They have been horrible from Feb since breeding season started. I worry about my little chicks so they will have their own space till end of summer. I have my chicks and mamas in separate fencing but mama flew over to goose side and chicks found an opening and went after her well she flew back over and of course they couldn't find the way back in and my Buff goose was going right for them. Since yesterday eve mama hen has clipped wing and geese will have their own space.

I remember when I was younger, the community lake had seven pure white geese. The geese wouldn't chase the adults, but the kids, all bets were off. We had so mean kids in the neighborhood, so that's why. But I was horrified by them for the longest time. All seven would line up and hiss and flap their wings, all while they changed you. Oh and bite you if they caught you too. They finally had them "Moved" they became so aggressive. Poor things, it wasn't their falt.:(
Patti, I hope everything works out alright. It hard when your babies don't get along. It just adds so much work.

Look out, they are coming for your chickens...

I tried to find a picture of a goose crossed with a tiger but evidently they can't mix. Seems the goose kills the tiger.
