@Miss Lydia & @BayBay Peepers Do you guys separate out your broody from the flock? I ask because our Cornish is right in one of the nestboxes in the main coop. My understanding is she might move before hatch or I should move her right before they hatch? This broody thing confuses me, I have read so many articles and some contradict others about how much you mess or move the broody.

I tried to move my broody last year before a hatch and she gave up. I let two hens hatch out some chicks and had to move them because my nest boxes are too high for chicks. I gave them each a space that was separate and after a week I let them free range. They both did really well. They buddied up against the flock and integrated at the same time. This year when I put the chicks under my hen I let her stay until night time. I don't think you have to move them unless you see some dangerous situation, I would almost think it's better not to. I just do because of the nest boxes and I keep my moose-sized ducks in there so I feel like their clumsy feet would squish a chick.

When it was in our house, it just about killed me. HE needs to go to the doctor!
I refused for a month and a half, then it went into pneumonia. Get a friend to drive him to the doctor. Or get a taxi. I had to drive my husband home from a something-a-scopy appointment when I was the sickest, that is what convinced me that I needed to see a doctor.

When I was at the drs. office for my follow up after being in the hospital, I told him how sick I had been with this cough that my DH now has. I told him how my husband had wanted me to go into the hospital, or the drs. I ask, is there anything they can do for this kind of cough..he said . . no. :/ I'm watching him, I hope it doesn't get chesty, but I've heard that doesn't always mean .. no phenomena. I am pretty sure where he got it.

He doesn't usually get this sick with coughs, he gets the sinus infections. Coughing this hard for so long sure wears you out.
What did your dr. do for you when you had this? Man, we've tried the honey combinations, different cough drops. Nothing works with this cough. And it hangs on for weeks. I've heard that some get the Z packs..or even steroids! He is one to go to the dr. if he thinks something will help. Thank goodness for that.
Man, I keep thinking, my Endoscopy would be over, and I would probably be home. He didn't want me to cancel last night, but there is no way he can go like this.

Quote: Zpac. helped me
He needs to be evaluated, My husband had a nerve that got wacko and he needed codine to stop the coughing long enough for the nerve to reset .
My cough also took on exercise induced asthma. There is a steroid inhaler that helps with that.
It won't hurt to be told there is nothing to do, but It might help for a doctor to see him and give him something to stop the cough long enough for him to rest.

This was for you all. It's the closest I could find to say "thank you" and what it means to me having you all here when I have a moment to come here and chat with you and the outpouring of support…. The spurt of inspiration, or the reminder that crud happens and life goes on and God IS in control, things will get better and there is still beautiful things in life. When I feel terrible and just want some positivity, I can come here and read your wonderful quotes… I'm not good enough with words to say how much I appreciate you all and the quotes right now. Things are rough here, very difficult.

Thank you all for being here
