Morning ya'll Hope everyone is well. I spent the entire day Memorial day, in the smoking hot sun, planting my veggies in my first ever garden. Mother Nature has been watering them off and on ever since. forecast for more rain this afternoon and evening as well. First chance I get I will try to post a few pics, forgot to take some when complete. as I said I spent the entire day from 10am to 6pm hoeing rows and planting plants and seed. when done it was time to BBQ with the family for the holiday.

I've been trying to get this to sink in my fiancée's brain as well. I want to get out of this near city life and get out in the country, have for a long time. She is content staying near the grandkids. She likes the idea of being more self sufficient, just real hard in our area with all the local restrictions. I tell her imagine the values we will help instill in the kids by having them visit us on a farm and help with the life. I keep on trying to get her to change her mind and I do feel that will be soon; feel I am getting some to sink in and getting closer to making major changes. Wait until she tastes all these yummy Veggies, she picked half the varieties.
