Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

I want to share this photo of one of the potatoes we just dug up.

That's about the grouchiest looking potato I've ever seen, lol. He is making a tasty lunch though.

If I could ask for everyone's prayers, that would be awesome! So my friend's best friend and his girlfriend were driving to a concert about 3 weeks ago. They slid on the wet road and got into an accident. The boy was throne from the rolling car and broke both his femurs, crushed his feet and suffered major head trauma. The girl also suffered major head injuries. They were taken to different hospitals. The girl woke up a few days ago and is able to form small words and eat. However, she can't remember much of anything. The boy, sadly, has not awakened yet. He had surgery to put his legs and feet back together which was successful. However today the families received news that he might never awaken.  Pray for the families and these two kids! Also, the hospital that the boy is at, apparently is not the best. After talking with the nurses and doctors of the girl who is at a separate hospital, it sounds like this boy actually could wake up and be somewhat ok IF he is moved from the current hospital he is at and gets the proper care he needs. So please also pray that he gets transported to a better place.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your friends and their accident, :hugs hope he gets moved to the hospital he needs to be and everyone recovers.

Today is big day around here.  My four year old niece has to have a few pins put in her elbow.  She fell of a slide yesterday and it broke. But it turns out she's tougher than my sister-in-law.  She can't handle doctors or injuries and she just flat passed out.  Usually my brother takes the girls to the doctor, but he's on the road with work right now.  My niece is a tough little bird and I have no doubt she'll pull through splendidly.
And today my fiance has another interview at a different location.  I'll be crossing my fingers and sending all sorts of prayers out today.  Seems they're needed all over the place and I'm glad prayers have no boundaries. :)

Hope your niece's surgery goes well, :fl sorry about her injury.

Good luck to your fiance with the interview.
