Still trying to get organised and into our own home, but we'll get there...

DS and I went to the Cork Summer show this morning, to go look at the chickens of course. It was a bit of a drive, but well worth it. The poultry side of the show was tiny, with less than 100 birds, but we had a lovely time, chatting with the judges and exhibitors and just enjoying being around chickens for a few hours.

I also got some nice contacts... I was taking pics of the exhibits when I turned and saw a Cemani hen right next to me. I'm afraid I said the first thing that popped into my head

But her owner didn't mind and gave me his phone number, he lives not very far from me and said he can sell me 6 hatching eggs for €50… Am so tempted! Not the greatest pics sorry, the lighting in the tent was horrible:

I'm afraid I forgot what these are, but they are chocolate and the pics do not do the colour justice, they are GORGEOUS
