got some bad news today. good friend of mine just passed away from cancer. we grew up in the same small community, went to school together, from grade school, thru high school, we were teammates in football and baseball, throughout highschool. we were both active members on our youth football board, and both coaches. he leaves behind two daughters, and a son, all of whom had lived with him after he and his wife were divorced. both of his parents are still alive, and I know how devastating this is for them. He was active as a volunteer firefighter, and ems in the small community, as well as where he worked.

to say that his passing will leave a hole in this community and his family's life, is an understatement.

add this to the list of why I want to throat punch, and then sac kick cancer.
