Yep, Ma was right! She said angels come down as butterflies. When they land on a pansy, they leave their shadows behind so we'd know that angels had been there. She never, ever planted any garden, flower or veggie, without them.

Thanks! And some very pretty flowers you have. For some reason all my daffodils decided not to bloom, they just got the green foliage with no flowers.

You said that, but those aren't Pansies. They are Violas. :/ Are they in the same family? They look similar, but they cost more.

viola is the genus of pansy.
Johnny jump ups are also viola.

Those look like a hybrid variety.
