i am sure it is the chemo making him feel weirdHello!
Kyle does seem to be doing good this week. He is acting a little odd the past couple days. We think the chemo is causing him to feel weird. His attitude is great, but he isn't eating much and he is unusually cranky. Today after Katie's swim lesson, she asked to go to McDonald's for lunch. Kyle spoke up and said "no, let's just go home." This is really out of character for him lately. So we went home. He is still playing normal and sleeping normal, but there is something a little off. We aren't worried, but we just feel bad.
I thought I'd send out a few pictures from this past week.
We were supposed to go to an event near my mom's house in June, but we missed the event because Kyle just got out of the hospital. The event was a meet and greet with the Paw Patrol characters. Mom's coworker knew the coordinators of the event and told them about Kyle. We went to mom's for a few days, and two members of the Paw Patrol came out to a park to meet with Katie and Kyle. Kyle freaked out and wouldn't stop clinging to me, but we like to think he enjoyed the event. When he saw the pictures he laughed a lot and told us about what happened.
We have been doing A LOT of Legos lately. The kids love them and of course, Kevin does too. The kids have their own box of random Legos that they can create whatever they want. Katie loves making vehicles and things for animals or Barbies. Kyle loves making cars, boats and planes. It has been a fun summer watching what they can create all on their own. The last picture is them with their creations.
