Know what jumped out at me? Not the prices - sadly I remember prices like that too. No, what caught my eye was that back then there was a distinction between shoestring potatoes and french fries, and many restaurants and diners had BOTH! Ask a kid today if he/she likes shoestring potatoes and all you'll get is a blank look. I am old.
