I keep it simple and only buy sweet onions

I love the taste and only buy other onions when their out of red. (like wine.)
I suppose that's why they so many varieties of onions (and people.)

I'm a purple onion lover. I try to keep white, Vidalia, purple, and green onions too, but if I can only have one, it's got to be the red/ purple onion.

They failed to consult me on RED ONION,,,, Unless they were concerned about poster space. I use red onions as one of the toppings on Pizza. Especially when I make Hawaiian

Hubby's favorite is a red onion called Red Baron. I find the sets for sale sometimes locally, or I order them from Maine Potato Lady. Strong flavor and pretty color.
