Love this quote but I noticed this year, none of my sunflowers are facing the sun. They literally are facing the opposite direction. Every sunflower I've seen, wherever I'm at, is like this. And sunflowers are popular around here. They face west in the morning and east at sundown. What the heck?

That's weird, never seen that before. I grew up in the Sunflower state (KS) and they were everywhere...love those sunshiny flowers.

After Katrina when our entire neighborhood was covered with 8-12' of salt and pesticide filled water for 2 weeks, sunflowers were the first plants to pop up.
