My cousin is all gloom and doom. Her church is all about Armageddon, she can't wait to see it. I listened in the service during COVID for a year and it was very depressing and yes the world looked horrible. When I quit listening to it and started listening to upbeat services, my Outlook on life totally turned around in a few months.

Ecc 1:9 NASB That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun.

That verse reminds me that no matter how bad things seem to be getting, such is nothing new. God had us in His hand then, He has us now and He will have us through the end of time, no need to be fearful of what's going on
