When my mom died, it felt like a piece of my heart and soul went with her. We were very close. She'd have a thought and I'd finish it. I could just look at her and know her every mood. She could put a brave face to the world, but I could read her like a book. We went though some hard times together, perhaps that's why.

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother too.

When I lost my mom we hadn't been close for years, divorce has a way of doing that to families. But thankfully a couple years before she passed away we got back together. Those were our best years.
