That's one of the reasons why I don't think I'll have another horse. I love them but they are sooo expensive. .feed, vet bills, riding gear, shoeing, it's just too much for us. Our next animal expense (hopefully) will be a dog. I've been without for 5 years now and I miss having one. In the meantime, we have chickens, rabbits and goats (soon to have a couple more goats if the mama gets with it). A baby goat is almost as good as a dog, right? Nah, didn't think so (but they are cute)!

Ooh I think goats are as good as dogs!! We hand reared a goat at the yard where I keep the horse and it became just like a dog. Ran around and played with the dogs as if it was one. But then again it knew nothing else as it was an only goat. Good luck with the babies hope you have them soon and you can post pics :fl
