@3goodeggs , we're headed into town to do some shopping and I was wondering about the soapy plant spray you wrote about the other day. Are you just mixing up dish soap with water? Is there any particular brand of soap you use?

Thanks Jan!

@NorthFLChick Any soap acts as a surfactant, but really, for all jobs everywhere, dawn is the best for the money.

with a pump on top.
for about the same price as the regular sized ones.

You know how sometimes here in our area, it will get so dry out that when you try to water it just balls up on top of the soil and won't soak in?
Squirt some soap on the ground to break the surface tension of the soil and you can get your plants watered.
We go through through a lot of this stuff.
Or use one of these and get away with using less soap.
And it will drown the aphids.

But don't fill it all up with soap. Maybe a 1/4 cup and then the rest with water. and the fiddle with the % ratio of water to mixture. It does not take much.
Don't make foam or suds. That's too much.
okay back to quotes.
Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
