LOL But my DW thinks I could be pizza! (o:

I also didn't enjoy school. You'd probably never guess, but I was ways scolded for laughing and making jokes. By high school I spent half the day not allowed in the classroom. But I told myself there was no way I'd stay longer than I'd have to so I finished up and moved on. Hopefully your oldest can pull through and find something more enjoyable to focus on

School was not home, therefore, It was a good place to be. College was great! not only was it not home, but I got to learn what I was interested in.
School's cool!
I often think too many kids get turned off from learning because it was more important to make kids conform than to get them interested.

School needs to be hands on and involve mud. and perhaps some chickens.

I couldn't agree more. When I hit high school they were already taking the extra curricular classes and replacing them with more academic classes. What they didn't seem to grasp was that some of us need those extra classes. Some of us need a chance to use our minds differently and work with our hands. I understand needing to learn the academics as well, but there has to be other things in there to break up the monotony of sit down, listen, and take the test. Especially since I can't make custom cabinets, draw, or attempt to make stained glass at work

Slow…. I was just looking at the time and wondering if 07:30pm is too early to go to bed or if I should wait another hour. I'm sick again and a bit dopey from the medicine I'm taking. But apart from that things are o.k. over here

I know right? If only I had realized it was my jewelry class that got me through the rest of high school...things might be really different now. I just wanted out.
