Nickyknack, sorry to bring up negative memories... I lost my dad last spring to cancer(s) he was full of cancer... Brain, lung, stomach etc... He had COPD and a compromised heart from a heart attack... He was a life long smoker....

Don't be sorry. That's life, it's ever fleeting. Perhaps that's why we feel the need to chase it. I've held on to those sad memories so hard. Almost to the point that those two weeks were what I remembered about her the most. That I have forgot that those moments were just a blink it the time I had with her. So don't be sorry for bringing up negative memories, for without them, how would we ever know the good ones! Thank you.

I never smoked, so I cannot imagine how hard it must be to stop.
We are rooting for you!

Wow... I completely get that... Those two weeks in the hospital with dad are what I have been focused on also... Time to re-focus. :hugs
