Welcome to a normal Wisconsin winter hehe (and I'm guessing Canada) We got lucky this year. We had short bursts of super cold whereas last year it seemed to last forever.

Oh I can imagine, Last year was pretty brutal seemed the snow and ice stayed for ever I spent alot of time picking myself up off the ground.

We had a very cold November 2014 then we had pretty nice winter weather till NOW we're getting it both barrels. -36? we will get that with wind chill but not reg temp. Goodness we have become Wisconsin.

I can't imagine the cold north of me. we're going down in the minuses next few nights with highs in single digits. This is middle south not Normal. I'm trying to hang on tight.

And I was whining because we're supposed to get high's in the 20's the next couple days. 5 years ago I left KS thinking I would never be cold again, HA, that'll teach me.

I removed a feeder and they pooped on the cinder block stand and it froze before I brought the feeder back out- so now it's rickety balancing on poop.

Luckily they haven't ventured up the suicide steps (solid sheets of ice) to the deck. Salt and sand isn't even working on them.
