ROFLMAO! Shannon, you always find such funny ones. :lau

Thanks for sharing and that just made me nervous, there is no way we could incoprate 21 chicks into our flock, assuming around 50% hatch. I was thinking of setting 41 eggs and see what happens. We can assimilate around 5 into our flock. The rest will be going to one of the charities we donate eggs too. I am working on getting a program up and running, where we work with military families that are interested in chickens and raising their own backyard flock. Our eggs have been a big hit with the military group and many of the soldiers we are donating too are having medical issues and are usually in crisis. I know how much I benefit from animal therapy and feel like others could really benefit from raising their own chickens. It's a pipe dream, maybe call it Chicks for Vets or Tricia's Chicks for Vets, or our name NoBo Chickens for Vets. Who knows, I am way ahead of myself at this point.

Geez, I have just managed to get up and do chicken chores. Why do you get up so early? Oh and I liked those quotes

Tricia, that's an excellent idea about a program to provide vets with chicks. Really like the idea of letting them in on the chick therapy plus providing an animal that will give them nourishment WTG!

I get up before you probably because my time is a couple hours earlier than you (I'm eastern time and you're mountain, right?). Always been an early riser that's when I do my best, by 8pm I'm worthless and by 10pm I'm in bed.

In honor of our new goats, I bring you...

And let's not forget this old song...
