Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Got it all stood back up from the storm we had Saturday..
Looks really nice. Glad you didn't loose anything. I finally got my garden planted yesterday, late for the season, but post freezes, frosts and storms. Of course that was followed by a Tornado 18 miles away but fortunately so rural that damage was minimal. I remember last year I planted an acre of corn which, by the time it just gave up, was growing horizontally due to the wind.
Hi JTN gardening can be frustrating and rewarding experience, I guess just like anything else but its worth it in the long run. Last year was my first garden and I lost 80% of my corn from a storm. I didn't know then that you had to hoe up some dirt to it. :)

Very neat looking garden WB!

This weekend I noticed all the flowers that are blooming in the veg & herb garden, hope you don't mind if I share.

Parsley

Sage

Thyme

Potato

Squash

Strawberry

Blackberry

Sunflower bud

And one of my favorite perennial flowers, Ruellia

Hi Jan, loved your insect posts!

(and sorry for dragging you out of bed with all my shouting this morning...take a nap if you want)
I got the boys off. Hubby had car troubles so I get to stay home today. It's raining anyway. Good day to clean the house and do some laundry.
If I can be outside gardening then I am. Too many good days in a row and people around here run out of underwear.
