Wonderful looking garden Tricia! I have tomato envy now...we have the worst time with those, ugh! We can grow any type of squash or pepper you can imagine, but a tomato? Nope.

Thanks, well I cannot take all the credit for the tomatoes. We got our starts from a local organic nursery right down the street. They have exclusively neonicotinoid free flowers and perennials we buy from them as we have hives on our property. Anyway, since they are local grown for our climate and hardened off by them, they do great or did great for us. While I was at my parents spot over the weekend my BF and his father got our beds ready. We will be also using 10 - 25 gallon smart pots around the garden as well.

Haven't been able to get my cold season seeds in the ground as it has been raining everyday.

I can grow a lot of weeds with no effort lol. Although 99% of weeds are edible!!

Oh my gosh, if I hadn't already been weeding for about the past 2 months, I'd be up to my elbows in the darn things by now. I try to keep up with it so it doesn't get out of hand and do at least a little almost every day.

Weeding sucks!

I think I know my problem with weeds...it is my perspective.

As with most things in life, things look differently when we change our perspectives and remember the positives.

When it comes to the garden, I subscribe to the same philosophy as my 7th grade biology teacher, "Anything growing where you do NOT want it, is a weed."
