Oh my heck, 80 unread posts! I'll catch up later, I just wanted to say thank you, your good wishes worked again! We found somewhere to move to from here!!!! 2 Cottages @ a ridiculously low rent! And there is an old duck pen we can move the chickens into. It's the perfect solution for our interim stay and for MIL. DH knows the owner, who is really nice and it's in a lovely area too. I don't have words to describe how grateful and relieved I am right now...

I'll pop in again and try to catch up with you all when I have more time. Love you all

Actually this is very out of the ordinary for us. This time of year is normally beautiful. Pleasant temps, breezy afternoons, blue skies. This level of storm activity this far south on the southern plains is rare. All that can be done is to stay alert, be prepared for instant changes and ride it out. They are predicting this sort of afternoon instability for another week then more normal.

I must have seen too many movies. I always picture Texas with lots of tornadoes and out of control weather.
