Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

We planted 2 varieties of sunflowers this year, they range in height now between 3' and 5 1/2'. Where they are planted, they act sort of as a screen in front of the chickens outside fenced area. Hoping we get some seed heads from them this year, last year the squirrels got to them before they were even ready.

I grew up in Kansas...sunflowers are mandatory in my garden, lol.

Or, around here, zucchini!

I like this :)

Everything wild is blooming here. Blackberries, raspberries, trees, bushes including elderberry, you name it. The fragrance in the air is unbelievable. No human can duplicate it in an air-freshener but you can sure open the windows and enjoy it free of charge.

Oh yes! Where's a time machine when you want one? I would love to take a peek back.
Not really sure I would want to. I am trying to remember the title of a book I read once where this guy goes back in time to save the world, big battle, meets and falls for a beautiful woman, they marry and have children, then he gets caught in the "time vortex" and gets yanked back to his own time where it turns out he is his own great great great grandchild. Awkward!!!!
