Look out, they are coming for your chickens...

I tried to find a picture of a goose crossed with a tiger but evidently they can't mix. Seems the goose kills the tiger.

You know what....my guess is, if a tiger had this many coming after him, he just may be the one running for it's life. Now, that would be something to see!

Geese can be stinkers. When I was a kid, my grandmother warned us about her geese. Stay away! We knew... we had been chased when way out back of her property that had a stream run across it. When those geese came for us, we would jump the stream, slowed them down, or they would be happy that we were leaving, and would stop there.

Saw this and had to share. I couldn't wait until Wednesday or Friday :D

The yard is done, the house is almost done, and the flowers are bought for my mother and grandmother :) just a few more hours and they're here. My dad called to say they'd leave at 1...or earlier...or later. He's good at narrowing things down for me when I get anxious haha

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.

Cynthia I hope you get some relief soon and they can figure out what's happening.

I think if I had that many I'd be a gonner too. even though they are beautiful. And to think all this time we thought Tigers were the only man eaters.

I remember when I was younger, the community lake had seven pure white geese. The geese wouldn't chase the adults, but the kids, all bets were off. We had so mean kids in the neighborhood, so that's why. But I was horrified by them for the longest time. All seven would line up and hiss and flap their wings, all while they changed you. Oh and bite you if they caught you too. They finally had them "Moved" they became so aggressive. Poor things, it wasn't their falt.

Patti, I hope everything works out alright. It hard when your babies don't get along. It just adds so much work.

That's the first thing I taught my grandkids is not to tease the geese, thankfully they did learn but didn't have to learn the hard way because I would never let my geese bite anyone. I'm usually the only one that get bitten.
But it is heartbreaking to see how cruel people/kids can be to them and then the geese are the ones killed or taken away because of it. Geese are something else during breeding season, brooding season and gosling raising season which takes up a good portion of the year. lol so always do your homework before thinking about taking home that cute lil gosling. Even though they are stinkers I still love them.
