Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Good morning all!!!

My hen, Banana, decided last night was the night she takes the chicks to the main coop. I went out early to check on them and she was ready to be ranging by 6:15

All in all it looks like it was successful. I had a feeling she was going to try soon, she just had that look like she was ready to join her friends again. Last year went a little differently. She went to the coop and her chick got confused. Another one of my hens, Pearl, who had a little chick took her in for a few weeks and then had her go to the coop. The chick went back to Banana like no time had passed. I guess I just have a special group.

Good morning everyone. Things are crazy here, just crazy. Arlene, thank you for the mountain quotes. On our way to and from the new home we cross the spectacular Outeniqua mountains. I must've travelled over that pass 200 times or more, but it still takes my breath away. These pics don't do it justice:

Oh my goodness, I had to click on each one of these! They are beautiful! We have mountains..of course. We live along the Wasatch Front. A mountain range that goes through many states. Will have to find some of my past photos later. I can't imagine not living around mountains now. I've visited other states with .. what they call mountains. No, they are just hills.

Of course, when I lived in Florida, no mountains at all, but I sure loved that Beach. We lived in Fernandina Beach. Walked to it.

Hope everyone has a happy Sunday

Hi Wild Bill. :) Is the weather good there? I am seeing that there is a huge area for tornado watch through the midwest area..I know you are in GA. So you are probably good. I pray for the safety of those in that area though, man, I remember tornado watches and Hurricane watches. No fun. I also remember going through GA. as a child when I lived in FL. It was beautiful. Then we have a son that just came back from a 2 yr. mission there. He loved it! He was in the southern part for a while, loved it. Then went north. Said it was really different there. The scenery was still beautiful, but being close to Atlanta the people were quite different. He loved seeing the birds that I said that he would see there. The red cardinal being one of his favorites. And I told him how these beautiful big flowers just grow..outside! lol.. we have to plant flowers here. He loved the trees, trees everywhere! We have to go into the mountains to see our trees, really beautiful up our canyons. :) I do wish we had more trees here in the valley. Everyone plants trees right away after building a home. Well, I got going here..lol..have a great day. Enjoy the Sabbath!

Awesome quotes and pics this morning guys!!!! Just returned from church. Wonderful message was spoken today.

My poor husband has what I had .. the flu. I had it for weeks, coughing soo hard for weeks! I am now wondering if that is what triggered this chest attack as I call it for now. lol. I coughed so hard I thought I would break a blood vessel. Anyway, he doesn't usually get real sick. And he has church meetings in the morning that he never misses, but did today. In bed most of the time. Poor guy. He doesn't like staying down! I know the feeling. Going to make him some chicken noodle soup. It isn't the soup that helps, but the water in it..more liquid. :)

Hope everyone has a happy Sunday :)

I like south Georgia a lot better. Don't like going to Atlanta the people are different up there but if you get away from town the scenery is pretty. I lived in Florida growing up. Mainly around Orlando. Well you take care and enjoy the day! Also keeping you in my prayers.
