Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

It's interesting the photos I found..none from above..those are the impressive ones, but found a lot of fall colors and winter ones from the street! Oh well, you can see what we are surrounded by. Then a couple of us up a canyon with an easy path to a small stream..small at the time! Photos!!

This one is of us just coming up to our home. I love that mountain
right there. Maple Mountain. A photo from my front porch on a winter day.

This is the highest mountain in our valley. Timponogus.

Had fun with my camera this day, with the horse, barn, and mountain in the back.
Bottom of that Maple mountain in the fall. Foothills.

If you look close, you can see my 2nd owned Golden R.
by my DH. Up a canyon.

Big dog, little dog. Have to get back up there with my
Girl Golden and this little guy this yr.

Man and his dogs.

Me and my Godlen, Toby. He's gone now.

Have to show you my Golden R. girl now. Have to! :D
Just in our back yard with the chickens. She's looking over at
DH. What is he doing?

I really like to believe that I will have all of my pets again someday.
All of them. :)

I'm going to miss church today.

My poor husband has what I had .. the flu. I had it for weeks, coughing soo hard for weeks! I am now wondering if that is what triggered this chest attack as I call it for now. lol. I coughed so hard I thought I would break a blood vessel. Anyway, he doesn't usually get real sick. And he has church meetings in the morning that he never misses, but did today. In bed most of the time. Poor guy. He doesn't like staying down! I know the feeling. Going to make him some chicken noodle soup. It isn't the soup that helps, but the water in it..more liquid. :)

Aww I'm sorry to hear that!

I hope he gets better! Never fun to be sick especially with the flu!

No, the flu gets more scary the older you get. Just seems to hit harder. :/ He's taking it easy. I have the chicken noodle soup done.

So Shannon, how did you visit go? Did you get to cook out? I hope you weren't rained out.

It went really well. It only rained lightly in the morning.

My grandma got to sit around and feed my ever hungry flock and she was so excited when one of them decided to perch on her walker. (she would not have been as excited if she waited around for it's little surprise haha) It was a good day and a good visit, couldn't ask for much more.

Cynthia, I loved the pictures you shared :) and I hope you and your husband feel better quickly. There's not many worse feelings than having the flu

...I'm sure there are, but when you have it, it seems like the worst feeling ever
