Love these. I got a T-shirt at TSC that has a picture of a tractor and says Farmer...Someone has to feed you people. I wear it when I go to the grocery store just to annoy them.

I have one that is an older picture of a woman carrying a deer that says "grocery getter". I wear it around family members who say I should go vegan hehe (not that I have anything against vegans...just ones who say they're vegan after I've seen them eat a burger.)

My recipe for cough syrup it works really good.
cough is the body's response to inflammation or irritation in the throat, larynx, bronchial tubes or lungs. There are two basic kinds of coughs, congested and dry, with each one having different underlying causes.

Materials
Onion
Sugar (or Honey)
Glass Jar
Preparation
Cut a medium onion in half and then slice in 1/4" pieces.
Break into parts and layer one part onion and one part sugar in the glass jar.
Mash the onion up with the end of a spoon to begin juice extraction
Let the preparation sit over-night or for 3 to 4 hours until a syrup is formed. The dosage I do is 1 tablespoon every 2/3 hours

I just wrote a response to WildBill, haven't tried it with onion before. We've been told to try it with lemon and olive oil..haven't heard of the onion yet. So many home remedies, that work just fine. I love taking Echinacea when I am sick, or around sick folks!

Nutrition is the key to not getting sick. If you have a good immune system you can fight off most anything. I've been drinking pine needle tea for over 5 years now once a week. And I haven't been sick since. Pine needle tea has more vitamin c in it then oranges or grapefruit.
