Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

400

Good morning. I had to share this, but the picture doesn't do it justice. Its a neon pink sun rising to a gray day. Its so neat looking.

In other news I took my duck to the vet. She's on antibiotics, pain meds, and an eye cream. I'm still worried though because I don't see her eating. I hope by the end if today she starts a little because I'm not so sure I'm up for the challenge of tube feeding a duck.I don't know how I can help her get interested in food.

I've tube fed some chikens, but her neck is longer and she's much stronger than a chicken. I'm hoping by the time I get home she'll be doing better. I'll be praying like crazy for her. Maybe I'll try worms next, that's usually a flock favorite.

Well I figured out the sun and gray skies. The wildfires in Canada are causing a haze over Wisconsin and that what caused the sun to look pink. I couldn't imagine dealing with wild fire, how scary. There were two fire scares when I worked on the farm. One was the farms back field because a rider through down a cigarette and the other was a neighbors hay field. I've never seen people scramble together so quick to bring trailers for emergency evacuation s for the horses. Terrifying and exciting all in one.

Look up casportpony she has all kinds of good info on tube feeding she'd probably help if you PM'd her too, hope you don't have to but at least that is an option.

any time I have to give meds mine get wrapped in a towel like a soft taco.

Sorry to hear they are having wild fires in Canada that is always scary.
