Not really sure what a "cooker" is but sounds like at least similar to an electric stove/range here in the US. Good think you were able to get an electrician so late. That could have been really dangerous...what if there had been a fire in the night while you waited for the electrician the next day. Is it a permanent fix or are they going to replace it?

Electricity scares me more than anything else in the house. When I was just a little kid I put my finger in the socket of a lamp to see if there was electricity when it was off. Well, yes there is if you push down on the little element inside there. I have been nervous around electricity ever since.

Be careful with that thing!!!!!
 
Oh my goodness sumi! So glad you actually got someone over there. Hopefully they will fix it permanently. I am also guessing this is a stove..range..oven..different names we use here in the US. Sounds like it needs to be completely replaced.
Get some sleep. At least you know things have been looked over really well.
 
Sarah, those flowers are beautiful. You are lucky to have so many different types of flowers growing around you!

Wow, they keep late hours over there. lol Glad your safe. electricity scares me. I'd like to live off grid.

I'm glad the electrician is working on it! Hope it all gets fixed and doesn't have any more issues.
