Day going very quiet other than the occasional crow. lol
This morning we had a deer jump the fence and visit and I wish everyone could have seen how quiet ever one was . I was afraid she'd hurt herself jumping back out with the barb wire at the top but she managed just fine. But the looks on all the flock was priceless, lol

How about you any plans for today?
we will grill baby back ribs later. Suppose to rain so I doubt there will be fireworks in town this evening.

No, no big plans. It's been a emotional week. I found out my Great Dane may have lung cancer. I inherited him from my mom, who passed a year and a half ago, to lung cancer. So I'm kinda sad. All week they have ran blood tests. Next is the chest X-ray. The vet says, it's not an infection, but his fighting something. So we are trying antibiotics, until we can get the X-ray.

It is impossible to love the Lord and not keep His commandments, because the Bible says, "This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." 1 John 5:3. "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:4.

I'm so sorry Nicky I hope the antibiotic helps him feel better. And the Xray doesn't show cancer.

We sure do get attached to these critters of ours don't we.Like family members.

I went out to do chores just a bit ago and looked in the nest box and found this

I have had some very tiny eggs before but nothing like this, this is the size of a wild bird egg. and not the color of my bantams egg so has to be from an EE or one of my BA's .
