I have a question    I lost a hen yesterday and now I'm down to one....she's lonely.  Would it be best to find someone with hens to adopt her?

Bringing in a new hen close to her age would work, actually if I were you, get 2 more.. Maybe 3. Which would mean more farm fresh egg's..
But then there is the quarantine time.. Hopefully you have a area set up to keep them before introducing them to your girl.. Keep us posted..

So true! I tell my hubby at least he is good for something.. the kids and friends are over durring the winter Bon fires, I always ask him tell his hilarious life stories around the fire's.. I laugh over & over, over the same stories.. It never GET'S old.. he is so awesome.. Blessings from above..
