Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

I'm afraid I don't have any advice… How is she doing now, did you get to see a vet?

Took her to the vet today, and she was miraculously unaffected from being stepped on......but has a bacterial infection.....

Now I need to force her to take pills and keep her in quarantine. She keeps calling to her sisters, poor thing :(
Thanks for your concern, I'm sure she'll be fine :)

Brent, how are you doing? Been thinking about you..... (I worry - it's my job and I'm darn good at it!)
I've been doing okay. I'm going to a neurologist tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get put on a somewhat side-effect free medication that will stop these seizures for good.

Just so you know that at first it takes some trial and error to find the right med, or combination, and the right dosages. And it can change as you grow as well. But boy, they sure can do amazing things with diagnosis and treatment.

Did you know that it was just a few decades ago, right here in the US, that some states required hospitalized people with epilepsy to consent to sterilization? Yep,so by golly if you have to have it, better now than then! It ain't fun to have, but I figure in the overall scheme of things it isn't contagious, isn't painful, isn't gross, and I can still take care of my family and do the things I love to do! I look at it as just a minor inconvenience. So it's full steam ahead, and watch out world, here comes Brent! Good luck tomorrow!! I'll be praying for you!

You are so very welcome! You probably already knew everything I said, jjust like when Jenny met Kenny and she didn't have to explain it to him!

Anyway, you're a terrific person and it's easy to want the best for good folks.
