Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

The latest email on Kyle. Thank you for your continuing thoughts and prayers!!

Hello everyone.
Kyle had his 7th round of chemo yesterday. He has been doing very well. He seemed a little off for a day or two last week, but nothing that lasted. His stamina is increasing when he plays, so that has been wonderful to see. Even when we have been outside running or out in the heat, he definitely is doing much better than he has in the past few weeks. This is such a great change for us.
We decided to risk a little more yesterday and took the kids to the local splash pad. We have been nervous to go for two reasons (1) germs and (2) when kids run around at a splash pad, they tend to bump into each other and push on other kids' chests. Well we went when there weren't too many kids, so they weren't really bumping into each other. And we didn't let the kids go in the rocks with water. The kids had a blast even though we weren't there long.
Kyle's plan is a 21 week plan, so we are on week 7. His ANC number was 1300, so it was great for this week. I expect next Monday it will be much lower, but we are good for now.

That is great news! He is doing so well and handling all this so courageously. What a wonderful little man.
