Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Thanks! The initial stab through the heart is gone, now it is just the dull ache when you think about the memories and all the fun you had together.

You're welcome. I know exactly what you mean.

Very sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. It means so much.
I'm so sorry :hugs

Thank you. :hugs I find solace in the thought, he's free from his dementia and that he's reunited with his wife.

My grandfather passed just over a year ago. I miss him and the chats we had, before he left, I'll value those forever. Though I'm sad that he left, I feel better knowing he is with his wife and son (my father) again, pain free and that he'd be able to SEE them

A childhood illness, when he was only 3 years old, left him blind. With my dad, I think he can walk again. He was paralysed and wheelchair bound for many years.

At least you have comfort knowing they no longer have a disability. It just creates more joy in heaven, right?

That's how I think of it, we're renewed. It makes losing loved ones a wee bit easier.

It's hard that you can no longer see or touch or talk to him but it's wonderful to think he never will truly leave you...AND you will see him again in a place that has no pain, no sickness and nothing bad.
