Oh, it will indeed! You guys seem to get much more snow and cold down south than we do up here. What we had this week, 5 inches of snow (although the paper today said we got 7) is so unusual for us! Um, have you ever made quilts? Good time to take up that hobby if you haven't. Ken says when winter hits, he's awfully glad my hobby is quilting instead of woodworking!

Nope, no quilting (but I sure enjoy wrapping up in one). I read and bake...and hang out on BYC of course!

I wanted ask for some prayers. We are getting hit with Typhoon Songda right now and through the next couple days. We are getting a tornado warning just south of us too. The power will probably be going out soon so if I'm gone for a while, that's why. Just pray for safety for everyone in the Pacific Northwest.

I always picture you in Florida when I see you on here. I used to live in Florida...man, are you in for a nice winter surprise! Get a few quilts, not just one. And yes, a lot dryer air there. I wouldn't be able to stand the humidity in Florida now..no way.
Anyway, we are now neighbors. We get a good cold winter here too. Can't wait to see photos of your first heavy snow fall. :)
 
I will not be surprised if we get a bit of snow before the end of the year. With this wonderful mild climate it's not a given that much of Ireland will get snow, some winters some parts get some, some they don't. But judging by how things went the last few days… I am working on making myself a quilt right now
