reminds me, last year, my family sent lots of cards to a little one with cancer, and it appears another little girl is seeking the same.

@jtn42248 you had me in tears this morning. And thinking about your little barn cat....

A friend came round and just asked me for a bin liner to put her in and went and took care of her for me. I'm so grateful for that. I gathered up all her food and bits and sent them to the neighbour who came and told me what happened and took her off the road for me. He has a few cats of his own. Clearing out the things like that and knowing it's going to a good place helped some. Her food and water and milk dishes are still on my kitchen floor though. I can't bring myself to do anything about them… Maybe tomorrow.

I hope the tears were, to some degree, cleansing tears. And, leave the dishes there as long as you need, you may even be adopted by another cat and need them. Hugs and best wishes.
