Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

I haven't posted anything about Kyle in a while. He is doing great! Last tests are good!
Here is an email I got from his mom, my DD. Thank you for keeping him lifted-up.

Hello!
The day we found out Kyle had cancer, we saw a pediatrician who knew something was very wrong within 2 seconds of examining Kyle. He is the one who stayed with me through the ultrasound and diagnosed the Wilm's tumor after only watching the ultrasound while it was being performed. He was the one who got me ready and sent me straight to Children's Hospital. He texted with us until after the surgery two days later, and came to visit Kyle in the hospital. Every check up or sickness after that day, he wanted to know every detail about Kyle and continued to be an excellent pediatrician to both our kids. He keeps the kids laughing at every appointment, and yet is an extraordinary pediatrician.
He is retiring next week. We took a few minutes to go see him today to say thank you for all he has done. Dr. Venuti will forever be part of Kyle's story. We wanted to share his picture with you.

@NotAFarm thank you for sharing an update on Kyle...how wonderful to hear he is doing well! And what a great doctor :thumbsup
Dr. V is great!! DD doesn't mention that he is an Air Force doctor and retiring from the AF but not from medicine. He will be in private practice in their area! He asked her to keep him updated on Kyle even if he isn't his "official doctor".
