Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Had. She passed away several years ago, after not speaking to us for 12? 15? years.

She never forgave us for -- gasp!! -- BUYING a puppy from a breeder. Never mind it was a responsible breeder, not a puppy mill; a breed we loved (Doberman), and a considered, thought out decision. She never spoke to us again. Except when hubby called her a few years later on Mother's Day, and she said, "Why are you calling?"
Wow. Just wow

I wonder if she had some kind of dementia? Something was out of wack

She had held a grudge against her own mother and one of her sisters for nearly her entire adult life.

There were several things out of whack. When we stopped going out to Pittsburgh to visit her, I didn't mind a bit.

I felt sad for my hubby though.
