I'm quite sure that this will be a very simple explanation, but whats the difference between quoting and replying? In my notifications, it says ___ quoted your post or ___ replied to you. What does that mean?

Well when quoting you can go and highlight part of a post you want to reply to or on each post hit quote and you can do that for as many posts as you want so you don’t have to reply individually and replying your replying to that post only.

Example: for this post I hit "quote" at the bottom of both the above posts. Now I am going to hit "insert quotes."

I can insert what I want to say at the bottom, like this, or I can type after each individual quote. See? Oh, and if I want to, I can break up any quote, simply by putting my cursor wherever I want to within the quoted text, and hitting the return arrow. That will open up a blank line where I can type whatever I want. Easy!
