Dolomite lime is it the same as ag lime/And is safe for inside coop as well as out,can I also use it to make the white wash or do I need hydrated lime only to make the white wash.Any recipes?And my tsc sells dolomite and fertilizer lime pellets so is this hydrated they are 2 different limes.I am so confused on the limes.

As I understand it, to make whitewash with quicklime (which includes the forms of ag lime and dolomite lime) you have to add water ("slaking"), and this produces a quite hazardous chemical reaction:

Slaking quicklime is hazardous and can cause severe bodily
harm if proper safety precautions aren’t followed. The chemical reaction is exothermic (generates
tremendous heat) and the resulting hydroxide is very basic (has a high pH) that can cause chemical
burns to skin, eyes, and other tissue.

Hydrated lime is the end result of this process, so it would be better to start with hydrated lime to make your whitewash. But hydrated lime is caustic, so you wouldn't want to put it dry someplace your chickens are walking around.​

Just use paint. It works the same way and won't blow your coop off the map.
