Just realized your in Canada, shipping there is crazy pricey. Below is a thermostat fro ebay canada. $30 Canadian.

I don't see how the heating element can break. If you disconnect the two wires that go to the thermostat and twist them together it should start the heating element to prove all you need to do is replace the thermostat.

Ok so i have found a new one. I dont want to just get parts because the bator itself isnt in the best of shape anymore and also i am gtting more into breeding now so i think getting a new one will be nice. I am going with the Hovabator genises 1588 digital thermostat 12v feature i am getting it from berry hills ltd. which is only about 3 hours from my house so shipping wont take long and they also give me free shipping. so i just have to wait a month or so to save up the money then im ordering.

Glad you found what you needed. Too bad they are so expensive. Maybe you will get another 15 years out of it, then the price would be worth it.

Tristincolli ,you might concider fixing your old one for stand by.. or just to have one for lockdown.. if you incubate eggs---- that are not of the same date in your new bator..
