One of my cats just died.
Doodles was 7 years old, she had alot of health problems since she was a 3 week old kitten, and my wife bottle fed her because the Mother cat had given up on her.

We discovered she was riddled with tumors throughout her abdomen when she was 6 months old, the vet suggested we put her down, said she wouldn't live to see a year old.

Doodles was my DW's favorite cat.
She could really hand out the sour facial expressions.

She will be missed.

Im sorry you lost your kitty. You've lost several in the last little while now, haven't you? Tell you wife how sorry I am. A great pet lives in our memories much longer than many things we experience, doesn't it?

RIP, Doodles.

It sounds like she lived 6.5 years longer than she might have. Good on you for that.

I am so sorry rooster-red. It must be hard. It was hard for me when my cat Henry died. He had feline leukimia (sp?) and the doctor was really blunt when she said he had to be put down. She must have been a great cat and she will be missed. RIP Doodles.
